Sharing a home: rent and occupancy

These homes are rented as a whole home. Each tenant named on the lease is responsible for the full rent and other lease obligations, not just an individual share.

City of Columbia occupancy rules determine who may live together in a home. The number of bedrooms alone does not establish the permitted number of occupants. We’ll review your proposed household before finalizing the lease.

If an occupancy change is required by a governmental authority, tenants must cooperate in making that change. Fewer occupants or people contributing toward rent does not, by itself, reduce the total rent, subject to the lease and applicable law.

Any guarantor obligations come from a separately signed guaranty.

Do not include account numbers or financial documents.

Your information is sent through FormSubmit to Porch Light Partners for rental review. FormSubmit retains submissions for 30 days. Do not include Social Security numbers, identity documents or bank account details. Screening is handled separately.
